Alameda County’s Community Points of Dispensing (PODs), including Fremont High School will start offering the Pfizer vaccine on Family Days, starting Thursday, May 20th. The Johnson & Johnson vaccine will also be available for anyone who is 18 and older. Parents, guardians, or caregivers will be able to make an appointment here: or by calling 510-208-4VAX (4829). Appointments are encouraged, and pre-registration for these days for Pfizer will open on Monday, May 17.

UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland (BCHO) is now vaccinating children and youth in the community, who are 12 to 21 years of age. Patients 12 to 17 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. Vaccines are administered in the BCH Oakland Outpatient Center, 747 52nd Street, Oakland, Mon-Fri, 9:00 am –4:00. Saturday appointments may be added later. To make an appointment, patients or caregivers should call (415) 514-1196, Mon-Sat from 7 am-7 pm and Sunday from 8 am-5 pm. Choose option 2 and stay on the line to speak with an operator, who will schedule an appointment.

Kaiser Permanente is now scheduling vaccine appointments for you and your family. Vaccines for people 12 to 17 are available by appointment only. A parent or guardian must accompany anyone under 18 to their vaccine appointment or print out and complete the consent and screening forms for the child to bring.
